(English is to be basis of communications, although plans call for interpreters to accompany participants as circumstances dictate).
Fees
Free
Costs of work study, orientation, training, and forum participation to be borne by sponsor. It covers cost of transportation including air fare between your home and Japan, meals, and lodging during program activities. Fees incurred during free time, clothing worn during the program, and other costs are not covered.
Prerequisites for Application
  1. Current enrollment at Thai university or graduate school
  2. Ability to use English for daily conversation
  3. Sufficient health and physical fitness (program includes work study outdoors)
  4. Availability for full participation on all days of 　orientation around May 2008, work study July 28 (Mon)-August 10 (Sun), 2008, and forums October 24 (Fri) and 25 (Sat), 2008.
Number of Participants
Participation limited to approximately ten persons from Thailand (20 persons in total. 10 Thai students and 10 Japanese students.)
Application Period
January 15 (Tue)-February 15 (Fri), 2008 *Completed applications must be received by February 15 at DENSO YOUTH for EARTH Action office.
Instructions for Application
Using the designated form, submit application form and a brief essay to the DENSO YOUTH for EARTH Action office.
  1. Download the application form and essay sheet from the DENSO YOUTH for EARTH Action website.
  2. Applicants who have no access to Internet should contact the DENSO YOUTH for EARTH Action office.
  3. Using the designated form, fill in the required information, including the reason for application, and attach a facial photograph on the form.
  4. Compose a brief essay on the theme "How do you create an environmentally-friendly society?" (Approximately 600 English words).
  5. Be sure to submit the required documents such that they are received by the DENSO YOUTH for EARTH Action office no later than February 15 (Fri), 2008 (documents may be submitted by post or email).
  6. Note beforehand that submitted documents cannot be returned.
