Denso Youth for Earth Action has peeled off the crust over my eyes and opened them to a beautiful world beyond my comfort zone. Climbing Mt. Fuji, I can feel and touch the virgin soil that nurtures life; Living with the villagers of Yuno, I can see first-hand how the Japanese live sustainably. Designing my very own action plan for the Earth, I see
how things work from another perspective. I am greatly enriched by this programme and the amazing friends I have made will stay with me for the rest of my life.

With the recent heightened awareness about environmental issues and reports on climate changes around the world, it has become all the more critical for youths like us to understand both the seriousness and the impact of the situation on life on Earth. DYEA brought me closer to appreciating what nature has given us through a first-hand immersion experience. What i've gained from DYEA is invaluable: good friends from all around asia; life skills of critical thinking and planning things into action; interaction and learning from inspiring environmental tutors.. The experience simply exceeds what could be put into pure words-- you have to experience it yourself. Be part of the new movement, be part of the sustainable action.
