Human development for bearers of our future

Despite the fact that DENSO Corporation, as one of global corporations, had been seeking for a new corporate social responsibility (CSR) project, it took two years to start up "DENSO YOUTH for EARTH Action" The New Earthlings Project practically. Among various issues stemming from growing global societies, including environmental devastation and poverty, we especially adhere to the area of 'human development'. We aim to educate people to think about "how to clean water sustainably, rather than cleaning water temporally". Then, one question "will the results from this human development project be obvious?" was raised in the company. Meanwhile, encounters with people engaging in education for a sustainable society helped this project to have a concrete direction for human development, which led to this collaboration. 

What do we wish for 'youths, bearers our future' through this project? Although the theme of this project is 'symbiosis with the environment', the ambiguity remains in this question would bother those who try to answer this question. In today's tendency for acquiring economic affluence and pursuing comfort and convenience, what we wish for youths is to rediscover essential affluence and vitality through experiencing our common assets, the nature, and interacting with youths with various values from all over the world before becoming a full fledged member of society.
