Participants for 2009 selected

From May through June, the final selection for DENSO YOUTH for EARTH Action 2009 took place and 25 undergraduate and graduate students were carefully selected as successful candidates.

This year, we received a great number of applications from excellent students in 7 countries - Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore and Japan. During the interview sessions held in ASEAN countries and Japan, the finalists had active discussion concerning environmental issues.

The participants have already started to exchange information and discuss via SNS, emails and meetings.
They are participating in the upcoming pre-training program (ASEAN students in Thailand, at the end of July / Japanese students in Whole Earth Nature School in Shizuoka, at the end of August), and thereafter, will start the full-fledged activities toward the on-site training in October and the forum in December.
